Nissan Frontier: Extended storage switch

The extended storage switch in the Nissan Frontier is primarily used during vehicle transportation or long-term storage to reduce battery drain by limiting electrical system activity.

In the Nissan Frontier, this switch is located inside the glove box, within the fuse panel. To access it, open the glove box 1 on the instrument panel, then remove or open the fuse panel cover 2.

If certain electrical systems in the Nissan Frontier are not functioning as expected, ensure that the extended storage switch is fully pushed in and set to the ON position, as shown.
