Nissan Frontier: Steering wheel
Basic information
WARNING
- Never attempt to adjust the steering wheel of your Nissan Frontier while
the vehicle is in motion. Doing so may cause loss of control and significantly
increase the risk of an accident.
- Do not position the steering wheel too close to your body. In the Nissan
Frontier, the driver air bag deploys with considerable force. Sitting too close,
leaning forward, or being out of position increases the likelihood of serious
injury or even fatal consequences during a collision. Always sit upright, keep
a safe distance from the steering wheel, and use your seat belt properly.
Tilt and telescopic operation

Push the lock lever 1 downward to unlock the steering column of your Nissan Frontier.
- Adjust the steering wheel vertically (up or down) in direction 2 until the
desired driving position is achieved.
- Adjust the steering wheel forward or backward in direction 3 for optimal
reach and comfort.
Once the correct position is set, pull the lock lever 1 upward firmly to secure
the steering wheel in place. Always ensure it is fully locked before driving your
Nissan Frontier.
