Nissan Frontier: Heated seat switches

Nissan Frontier heated seat controls showing LO and HI settings

The Nissan Frontier front seats are equipped with integrated heating elements designed to provide additional comfort in cold weather conditions.

To operate the heated seats:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Select either the LO (low) or HI (high) setting depending on your preferred temperature level.

The indicator light will illuminate to confirm that the system is active.

The heated seat system in the Nissan Frontier uses a thermostat to automatically regulate temperature by cycling the heater on and off as needed.

3. Once the desired temperature is reached or before exiting the vehicle, turn the switch OFF to conserve energy.

WARNING

Do not use the heated seats in the Nissan Frontier if the occupant is unable to sense heat or regulate temperature. This may lead to burns or serious injury.

CAUTION

  • Avoid using the heated seat for extended periods when the seat is unoccupied.
  • Do not place insulating materials such as blankets or cushions on the seat, as this may cause overheating.
  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on the seat to prevent damage to the heating elements.
  • Immediately remove any spilled liquids to prevent system malfunction.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals such as gasoline or thinner when cleaning the seats.
  • If the heated seat system does not operate correctly, turn it off and have the Nissan Frontier inspected by a NISSAN dealer.
  • Operating the heated seats while the engine is off may lead to battery discharge.
