Sealing
– Apply sealant to marked areas.
Fine seam sealing
– Fine seam seals in the marked areas require that the sealant extends at least 3 mm from the seam and must have a height of 2 mm.
Coarse seam seals
– Coarse seam seals in the marked areas require that the sealant extends at least 20 mm from the seam and must have a height of 2 mm.
Smoothing seals
– Once sealant has been applied, marked areas must be smoothed.
Important
● When smoothing the sealing seam, make sure that the sheet metal edges which are to be protected are not exposed. The metal must be covered with a sufficiently thick layer of PVC.
Brushing seals
– Following application, brush sealant in the marked areas to uniformly cover surface.
